In a significant strategic move to consolidate its position as medical equipment provider outside Oncology market, Kirloskar Technologies (P) Ltd. (KTPL) has inked an agreement with Neusoft Medical Systems, Shenyang, China. This will allow KTPL to market and provide after-sales service to Neusoft diagnostic medical equipments and other products in India.

 Neusoft Medical Systems produces range of diagnostic imaging products such as CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, and Laser Imager; besides Patient Monitoring Systems and software solution based products like PACS/RIS. 

In June 2004, Neusoft Medical Systems took a strategic move to form a joint venture with Philips. This JV focuses on research and development and manufacturing of CT, MRI, X-Ray and Ultrasound products for the global market.

Neusoft Medical Systems has installations world over, including USA, Europe, South America, Africa, Middle East and Asia for its FDA and CE approved products.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Amardeep Sethi, Chief Executive Officer, KTPL said, “Teaming up with Neusoft Medical Systems which is also the largest software solutions provider in China, would be a complete strategic fit with our Oncology business and will also open new markets in the Imaging sector.” He added, “It is very much in keeping with our consistent endeavour to promote  appropriate technologies for the Indian market.”

KTPL are training their competent service engineers to effectively service Neusoft products. KTPL assure customers of the same high standards of support, which they have cherished for long with them, told Jacob Thirumalai, Director, Services.

Mr. Animesh, Vice President Business Development stated, “ KTPL's strong presence, marketing prowess and long standing customer relationship, when married to Neusoft product offerings, shall surely expand radiology market and reach its vastly uncatered segment.”  “We see this alliance meeting long-term latent demand of Indian radiology market," he said.
